Birds’ watching
 Our
aim is to show birds’lovers and birds’enthusiasts many of our local
birds through the exploration of the countryside and the recognition of
the natural reserve areas, such as, Ria Formosa. The Algarve coast is
famous for its excellent white sand beaches, golf courses and a
beautiful coastline but it is generally not thought in terms of
birds’watching; it is however a truly wonderful country to try this
activity. Birds’ location includes a variety of different habitats,
depending on the season.

There is no better way to get in touch with nature than enjoying your day in a private walking.

Mountain biking
 For
those who want to enjoy the fresh air and nature to do some physical
activity, the mountain biking has a duration of about 2 hours. Takes
place in the heart of the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, where you can
discover beautiful natural landscapes.
Canoeing
 Cabanas
Park provides a magnificent cross with kayak in the Natural Park of Ria
Formosa, between Ribeira do Almargem and the island of Cabanas. The
tour is a relaxing way to enjoy the sounds and secrets offered by this
Park.
Walks in the Natural Park of Ria Formosa
 The
walking tour lasts about 1 hour and a half and takes place in the
middle of the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, where you can find several
species considered endangered. |
Walking Tour ½ day
 We

Boat Trip 1 ½h
 During
this tour you can discover the river and found birds that usually visit
the estuary. Ria Formosa as a nesting ground and stopping point in
migrating routs, allow you to observe Flamingos ( Phoenicopterus ruber
), Milherango ( Limosa limosa ), Storks ( Ciconia coconia ), King Fisher
( Egretta garzetta ), and much more species. Spending some times in
close contact with nature, in their real habitat, the wonderful world of
birds will absorb you through the enchantment of their sounds, shapes
